49ers in H-Town. Is This Gender Bias?

I think so. In fact, I find the NAME 49ers highly offensive & misogynistic.

Said to be named for the 1849 California Gold Rush, in today's world of Political Correctness & Racial Sensitivity (or lack there of) I find the NAME of this team every bit as offensive as say the Washington Redskins.

I remember the uproar several years ago over whether the Redskins should be re-named due to Racial Insensitivity towards Native Americans.

Is this the SAME THING???

Of course it is. BOTH NAMES are foul & offensive.
