L.I.S. Medicare Low Income Subsidy. ObamaCARE Did the Same for the Rest of Us
STUNNING that in the middle of the #Covid19 GLOBAL HEALTH CRISIS, #PresidentPineSol is still vowing to "Repeal & Replace ObamaCARE."
If this doesn't scream #UNFITFOROFFICE I don't know what does.
The Curve of new Covid-19 Infections has NOT been flattened. The Death Toll continues to rise. Our Testing Numbers are still below the threshold for scientific validity despite the best efforts of Government Officials to provide Free Covid-19 Tests across the City & County.
This is the time people need MORE Coverage, not LESS.
The Affordable CARE Act, affectionately known as ObamaCARE has been under attack since the current Administration took office.
Signed into law in 2003 by George W. Bush, the Medicare Modernization Act that created Medicare Advantage Plans & Medicare Prescription drug coverage included a provision in the Social Security Administration to help low income senior citizens pay for their drug coverage: LIS.
If Low Income Subsidies for Senior Citizens on MediCARE were a good idea when the Republicans introduced this in the Bush Administration, why the HYPOCRISY with the Democratic Good Idea to do the same for the rest of us in ObamaCARE???
IT IS THE EXACT SAME THING.
HEALTHCARE should be a Human Right.
