Repeated Slander With ACTUAL Malice on 713 Day
Long before Good Morning America brought the Dog & Pony Show to Houston for the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11, we had our own Good Morning Houston co-Anchored by Lisa Trapani & Tom Koch, Thankfully July 13th isn't on Friday this year, but I do wonder if Tom Koch is still singing "Ground Control to Major Tom?"
Being born on Friday the 13, 1961 - the exact day as Major Tom Koch, I've never been particularly SUPERSTITIOUS. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure there is nothing superstitious about the WILLFUL ACTS OF MEN.
The willful acts of men are neither lucky nor unlucky.
I would think that "Journalists" would be very aware of Libel Law, including Slander with ACTUAL Malice & Defamation of Character.
This is why I am calling for ETHICS REFORM IN THE BROADCAST INDUSTRY.
In general, victims of Defamation have 1 year to sue for damages after the Slanderous Statements were broadcast & circulated.
When the slanderous statements are REPEATED, it starts the clock over, giving the VICTIM an addition year to file suit.
I wonder if there are still DEAD PEOPLE ON THE MOON, MAJOR TOM?
