Ethics Reform in Government
The Mueller Report may be the most important book that no one has ever read. Published in March of 2019 & released to the public in April 2019, the overwhelming majority of Americans have not read the report. This morning, on July 24, 2019, the American Public will hear from Special Counsel Mueller himself on the findings of the 2-year Investigation into whether the Trump Campaign 1. Conspired with the Russians to influence the outcome of the 2016 Presidential Election & 2. whether the #Apprentice President Obstructed Justice.
While the Mueller Investigation could not prove that the Trump Campaign DID Conspire with the Russians to influence the 2016 Elections - despite there being enough evidence in full view of the American people- the Report DID enumerate 10 Counts of Obstruction of Justice.
Partisan Politics among the Public & among Politicians has people splitting hairs over points of LEGALITY & whether or not the #ApprenticePresident has committed any crimes.
Meanwhile, I'm about to burst a blood vessel in here.
The quote/unquote Leader of the Free World should be beyond reproach - PERIOD.
His behavior is so UNETHICAL it is STUNNING.
What is even more STUNNING is that NONE of the Senators in the Senate Ethics Committee are standing up to the #ApprenticePresident & calling out his UNETHICAL, Pathological Lying, BULLYING BEHAVIOR.
Ethics are a Moral Standard of Behavior that is not just merely Legal or Illegal. It is doing the Right Thing 100% of the time for the Right Reasons - even when nobody is looking. It is not just a question of pushing boundaries to see what you can get away with & the #ApprenticePresident has been getting away with some SERIOUSLY OUTRAGEOUS & UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR since before taking office.
Instead of addressing valid, legitimate issues, the #ApprenticePresident deflects, distracts & blames everyone but himself in the most condescending, disgraceful & bullying manner possible, even attacking Special Counsel Mueller himself.

I downloaded the Report the day it came out, but haven't done more than skim the Table of Contents. In my mind, it is not a question of the criminality or legality of the action of the the people in the Trump Administration.
ALL OF THIS IS SO UNETHICAL.
I have suggested to my Congresswoman that we need Major Ethics Reform in all areas of Government. I would like to see her Author, C0-Author or Sponsor Legislation to this effect.
Furthermore, the provision that a sitting President cannot be Criminally Charged needs to be REMOVED IMMEDIATELY. This Provision PUTS THE PRESIDENT ABOVE THE LAW & is the only thing that prevented Special Counsel Mueller from bringing CHARGES against Trump himself.
