Votes By Mail During Covid-19. Women's History Month
There is never a good time to have a Global Health Emergency, but the Covid-19 Crisis happening during the American Political Primary Season couldn't come at a worse time for our Democracy.
March 17th, 4 states - Arizona, Illinois, Florida & Ohio were scheduled to have their Presidential Primaries.
Ohio postponed their Election, Declaring a Public Health Emergency.
This Wednesday immediately following the Primary, Senator Amy Klobuchar, a former Presidential Candidate herself, along with a group of Democratic Senators introduced a Vote-By-Mail Bill to protect the Public Health while people exercised their Civic Duty to Vote.
I think we can all agree that we need a fundamental change in leadership in Washington, bringing Ethics, Fairness & Decency for starters, back to the highest Office in our Land.
I am in 100% agreement with House Representative Al Green of Houston, who feels that the 25th Amendment is enough for Impeachment.
2020 is a HUGE Anniversary Year for the 19th Amendment that granted WOMEN the Right to Vote.
The Equal Rights Amendment has just been Ratified into Virginia's State Constitution.
Let's make 2020 be the year that the Equal Rights Amendment gets Ratified into the US Constitution.
Then perhaps a QUALIFIED WOMAN can have a fair shot at the Presidency.
