Slander of a Female Police Woman on Channel 13
Libel Law is a requirement for a Degree in Journalism. While I am not an Attorney, I do have a degree in Journalism & have studied LIBEL LAW.
Channel 13 just had the NERVE to render a Female Police Officer who was involved in a Local Police Brutality Case several years ago UNEMPLOYABLE on the very day that George Floyd is being laid to rest here.
Excessive Force, Abuse of Power & Police Brutality are the topic of discussion & ABC's Local Channel 13 had to dig deep to dredge up this story SPECIFICALLY ABOUT A FEMALE COP.
Why?
Because they are SEXIST.

Here is what they did this morning.
On the Day George Floyd is being buried here.
Involving Police Brutality.
Their story is about the CHARGES BEING DROPPED against this Police WOMAN, yet they refuse to drop it.
Their story essentially said "Hey everyone this FEMALE POLICE OFFICER is being released from Prison & is looking for a Job. Do NOT Hire Her."
This is the TEXTBOOK DEFINITION OF SLANDER WITH ACTUAL MALICE.
They had MALICIOUS INTENT to render this Officer as UNEMPLOYABLE.
We are trying improve Law Enforcement relations with the Public.
I wonder if our Police Chief Art Acevedo has seen this & what his thoughts are on his former employee in their story.
The charges against her HAVE BEEN DROPPED.
She has a RIGHT to get on with her life.
Then Channel 13 pulls this MALICIOUS stunt.
They REFUSE TO DROP IT.
They need to LOSE THEIR LICENSE TO BROADCAST ANYTHING to the Public as being the MOST SOCIALLY-IRRESPONSIBLE NETWORK ON THE DIAL.
