Votes By Mail During Covid-19. Women's Suffrage Centennial

Women's Suffrage 3 Cent Stamp

UPDATE. 2020 is the 100th Anniversary for the 19th Amendment that granted WOMEN the Right to Vote.

The Equal Rights Amendment has just been Ratified into Virginia's State Constitution.

Let's make 2020 be the year that the Equal Rights Amendment gets Ratified into the US Constitution.

Then perhaps a QUALIFIED WOMAN can have a fair shot at the Presidency.

Side Note: The Democratic Presidential Convention for Election 2020 begins today.

As Historic as a Vice Presidential pick as Senator Kamala Harris is, we all know that she would have liked to be President - not Vice President.

Back in 2018, GerryMANdering was the "Dirty Word" for Voter Suppression.

Here is something I wrote at that time: GerryMANdering Houston Harris County.

Since then referring to the Current President as "45" has been used as a #SexistSlur

The Current President is a Man.

Why would people refer to him as "45" as if it is his NAME.

Is it OK to be 45?

Could SEXISM have played a role in what happened to Hillary Clinton in 2016?

Yes.

I think so.

There is never a good time to have a Global Health Emergency, but the Covid-19 Crisis happening during the American Political Primary Season couldn't come at a worse time for our Democracy.

March 17th, 4 states - Arizona, Illinois, Florida & Ohio were scheduled to have their Presidential Primaries.

Ohio postponed their Election, Declaring a Public Health Emergency.

This Wednesday immediately following the Primary, Senator Amy Klobuchar, a former Presidential Candidate herself, along with a group of Democratic Senators introduced a Vote-By-Mail Bill to protect the Public Health while people exercised their Civic Duty to Vote.

I think we can all agree that we need a fundamental change in leadership in Washington, bringing Ethics, Fairness & Decency for starters, back to the highest Office in our Land.
