Commercial Insurance as the Middleman. The Case for Government Sponsored Health CARE

GOP Republicans fueled by their Congressional Leadership Fund has a new Attack Ad criticizing Sri Preston Kulkarni who is running for Congress in Sugarland. I gotta believe that this Ad or something similar is being run across the Country to attack Democratic Candidates & to continue the disgraceful quest to overturn ObamaCARE.

Yet the Trumplican march to the Supreme Court to rip Life-Saving ObamaCARE away from us with no plan to replace it continues.

The Attack Ad claims that "Liberal Kulkarni Backs a Socialist Health-Takeover that would Eliminate Private Health Insurance Companies..."

Well, GOOD.

Insurance Company GREED putting Profits over People is what has pushed our Health Care System to the point of collapse.

So, I talk about Philosophy a LOT on my Blog.

I have entire pages dedicated to our Philosophy of HealthCARE & of HealthCARE Funding - from a couple of angles, from a couple of Perspectives.

Here is a new angle, a new Perspective, a new way to think about the Health Insurance INDUSTRY as a whole.

Insurance Companies are MIDDLEMEN between Health Care Providers - Doctors, Hospitals, Pharmacies - & their Patients.

When Governments, Businesses or Individuals are looking to Balance their Budgets, one of the most logical places to make Cost-Saving Budget Cuts is to Cut out the MIDDLEMAN.

A Single-Payer System like Government Sponsored Health CARE would cut out the MIDDLEMAN.

The GOP would scream about the demise of the Insurance Industry.

So What???

That would be a GOOD THING.

I speak not only from first-hand experience of being a Licensed Life & Health Insurance Agent of 14 years now, but as a person who has SURVIVED the Demise of an ENTIRE INDUSTRY in my recent past:

Think of Google.

Google is awesome.

Can you image life WITHOUT GOOGLE???

So, say you need to make a Phone Call these days.

What do you do???

Do you thumb through a Printed Yellow Pages Phone Book?

Or do you "Google that?"

When was the last time anyone can even remember having a PRINTED PHONE BOOK delivered to your front door?

The ENTIRE YELLOW PAGES INDUSTRY was WIPED-OUT by Google.

I'm still friends with several of my former Yellow Pages colleagues. Some of us have Retired. None of are are still in the Business of Selling Yellow Pages Advertising to Small Businesses.

Our Entire Industry has been replaced by GOOGLE.

With this in mind, now how do we feel about the demise of Insurance Companies in favor of Single-Payer, Government Sponsored Health Care?

Putting Health Care Providers doing business directly with their Patients & Cutting Costs by Cutting out the Middleman.

It's a good idea.
