Saturday was Valentines Day 2026. As we celebrate love on Valentine's Day, it's also a perfect opportunity to remind ourselves and our loved ones about the importance of taking care of our hearts.

Showing love can extend to promoting heart health through education and healthy habits.

February is also recognized as American Heart Month, a time to raise awareness about cardiovascular health.

This month emphasizes the importance of heart health and encourages individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles to prevent heart disease.

I've always known I was high risk for Cardiovascular disease. My Mom had a history of High Blood Pressure herself. My Maternal Grandfather died at age 52 of a Heart Attack. And my Grandmother's sister was a twin born with a hole in her heart. The other twin wasn't so lucky. She died at Birth.

This illustrates how important it is to know & understand your family's health history.

Last Wednesday, I had a Heart Catheterization Test that revealed that I now have Obstructive Coronary Artery Disease & need a Stent in the coming weeks - still waiting for Insurance Preauthorization for the Procedure.

(They could have EASILY done the Stent at the time of the Test. Instead I need to go back for a second Outpatient Surgery in early March.)

I keep saying that I'm gonna wind down this Blog for any number of reasons, but now I can add my Health to that list.

You people are gonna give me a Heart Attack!

Please stop attacking Women with a Calendar at Valentines Day or any day based on Time & Numbers.

I LOVED & Miss my Mom EVERYDAY since she died of Cancer in 2012.

And I bet you love your Mom too.
