I would actually like for this post to go back to its' original intent, namely Emotional Intelligence (treating others as you would like to be treated) Ethics (doing the right thing all the time even when no-one is looking) & selling my book, Yes, I'd Like to Thank the Academy: How to Tame the Red Carpet in YOUR Office.
Hopefully we're getting there, but some people refuse to stop fabricating a non-story based on 30 year old Rumors & Gossip, all while The Bachelor is wife shopping on Dancing With the Stars.
Do these hypocrites hear themselves?
It seems to be along Party Lines, but FAIRNESS should not be POLITICAL. And also please remember - I SAY IT ALL THE TIME - People are INDIVIDUALS.
Not all Broadcasters are Liars - just the ones that IGNORE FACTS & continue their gossip-based slander.
I would remind you people that my Uncle Jack BROWN was a Broadcast PIONEER at the time when Lisa Marie Pressley's father, ELVIS was "King of Rock."
Of course MY NAME, Lisa would play prominently in the NAME GAME, don't you think?
Today, Dave Ward, Anchor Emeritus of ABC 13 is lying in repose at the "Dave Ward Crime Stoppers Building" in Downtown Houston.
His public viewing & Funeral are this week.
For the remaining assholes who CONTINUE TO IGNORE FACTS - LIKE EVENTHOUGH THE APPLE LISA WAS NAMED FOR STEVE JOB'S DAUGHTER - I, "LISA ME" DID NOT HAVE A COMPUTER IN 1997.

Beyond that, there have been some God-awful TERRIBLE HEADLINES in the past 3 days that have NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYONE BUT THOSE PEOPLE IN THE STORIES.
That is the essence of FAKE NEWS - as the Apprentice President calls it.
You CANNOT BLAME ONE PERSON FOR THE ACTIONS OF SOMEONE ELSE.
Why?
Because PEOPLE ARE INDIVIDUALS.
My Thanks to Dave Ward & Rest in Peace for doing the right thing even as he was dying.
Setting the Record straight was the right thing to do.

UPDATE. Advances in Technology just keep marching right along with the ETHICS of using Artificial Intelligence, or AI being the question of the day with all of those Tech Gadgets under the Christmas Tree again this year.
Ethics are a MORAL STANDARD beyond merely what is or is not LEGAL.
Many things are perfectly legal but UNETHICAL - such as SCORCHED-EARTH SLANDER AGAINST A VICTIM while you protect the perpetrator.
In today's world EVERYBODY has a pocket computer in their "smart phones."
It was PHYSICALLY & VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE for me to THREATEN YOUR REPEAT.
And quite frankly there was NO THREAT AT ALL WHAT-SO-EVER!
You had paid, professional comedians who were NOT FUNNY that BROADCASTED YOUR REPEAT!
That REPEAT was YOUR FAILED REVENGE, MUCH LIKE THAT REVENGE-PORN BILL THAT JUST PASSED IN THE SENATE.
